Landscape Forms’ Cochran Wins GOOD DESIGN™ Award
Kalamazoo, MI - December 13, 2016 – Landscape Forms announces its product family, Cochran, has just won a 2016 GOOD DESIGN™ Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. This is the second major award that Cochran has received since its launch and one of 13 awards that Landscape Forms products have garnered in 2016. Cochran is simply elegant outdoor furniture designed by award-winning landscape architect Andrea Cochran. The line includes a lounge chair, chaise lounge and side table created to enhance outdoor experience.
“We’re very excited for Andrea.  Just like her landscape architecture, the Cochran line is clean, modern and rational,” says Landscape Forms Vice President of Design and Marketing, Kirt Martin. “It’s truly a timeless design.”
Part of the Terrace Life group of products for high-value social spaces, Cochran is engineered for portability and intended and warrantied for use in protected public spaces, yet moves seamlessly into high-end residential settings. Frames on all pieces are strong sculpted cast aluminum finished with Landscape Forms proprietary Pangard II ®, a HAPS, VOC, and lead-free polyester powdercoat. Chaise lounge and lounge chair seats are engineered mesh fabric. Tabletops are Landscape Forms proprietary Meldstone™ ultra high-performance cast concrete.
