Landscape Forms, Inc., North America’s leading designer and manufacturer of high-design site furniture, structure, lighting, and accessories, is excited to announce Marjorie K. Simmons has been appointed Chairman of the Board effective November 1, 2025, after serving as CEO & President for over 6 years. She succeeds Brian Walker, former CEO of Herman Miller, who will assist with the transition and return to the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Nomination & Governance Committee as well as the Compensation and Benefits Committee.
During Simmons’ tenure as CEO, the company nearly doubled its annual revenue, which included the acquisition of Loll Designs in 2020 and Summit Furniture in 2023, creating significant opportunities for its team members and suppliers. Simmons was also the catalyst for the company’s new 300,000 sf manufacturing expansion on its main campus which is scheduled to open in 2027.
Brian Walker comments, “Our new Chair of the Board, Marjorie Simmons, is an excellent choice. She brings proven leadership experience in sophisticated, growing organizations, along with an understanding and appreciation for the history, unique culture and capabilities of Landscape Forms. I look forward to working alongside her during the transition and with the entire Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team as we continue to expand and grow Landscape Forms.”
Simmons will be Landscape Forms’ fourth Chairman since being established in 1969, continuing a company tradition of excellence in governance and leadership which began with its founder, the late John Chipman, Sr.
