Rick Reeder is founder and principal of designStream, a full service firm specializing in architecture, planning and product design based in Winchester, MA. Reeder’s work ranges from the design of corporate buildings and private residences to museum exhibitions and a South American Eco-community. Not your old guard, Sentinel is a totally twenty-first century bollard designed to compliment contemporary architecture while providing pathway demarcation day or night via an optional LED light. Two variations on sculptural form offer versatility in function. Standard-size mitre and dome designs, mounted on 6" diameter structural pipes, provide handsome border demarcation and separation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Wired lighting features state-of-the-art lighting class LED. The security sleeve is intended for serious security applications. This large dome-style bollard is greater in mass and height than the standard version and is designed specifically for mounting over a 10" pipe built to US Department of State specifications.
