Studio 431 builds upon decades of Landscape Forms experience working with design professionals to turn ideas into award-winning furnishings and amenities for outdoor space. We manufacture in the state-of-the-art Landscape Forms production facility.

We collaborate with vendors for specialized processes such as rotational and injection molding, and with local contractors for structural concrete on site to support manufactured elements.

Robb Smalldon Studio 431 Manager

Robb is the manager of Studio 431. Since joining Landscape Forms in 1998 he has held engineering and technical positions as manufacturing engineer, project engineer, product development engineer and sales engineer. This broad experience has prepared him well for leadership of the team charged with solving the wide array of complex challenges associated with custom projects. Robb holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Design from Western Michigan University.

Mark is New Business Development salesperson for Studio 431. He joined Landscape Forms in 2013 after 19 years experience in construction industry sales working with building contractors and architects. Mark reaches out to make the connections between designers with ideas and Studio 431 capabilities. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Saginaw Valley State University.

John Shimer Custom Project Engineer

John is a project engineer who has been a member of Studio 431 for five years. He brought to the team valuable experience as designer with an engineering consulting firm working on projects for the medical, automotive, and furniture industries. John has a degree in CAD/Engineering Design from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and has been a Certified Solidworks Professional since 2007.

Mike Rekeny Custom Project Engineer

"I get the greatest satisfaction in being able to see a project through, from the submittal phase to installation. The highlight of each project is seeing a product in final assembly."

Mike is a Studio 431 project engineer who joined Landscape Forms in 2012. He brings to the team a strong knowledge base gained in his work in plastics manufacturing, fire-suppression sprinkler design, sheet metal, structural framework and environmental test chamber design. Mike holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, and is currently working on his MBA at Western Michigan University.

Nate Brooks Custom Project Engineer

Nathan is a project engineer in Studio 431. Since joining Landscape Forms in 1997 he has held numerous positions on the manufacturing side of the business, from assembly and finishing to wood working and metal fabrication, CNC machining and quality control testing, prototyping and CAD. His deep experience in hands-on production provides valuable expertise for custom product development and an important asset for the Studio 431 team.

Tony Rizzo Custom Project Engineer

Tony is a Studio 431 project engineer. He joined Landscape Forms in 2008, bringing engineering experience from the automotive and office furniture industries. Since joining the company he has filled technical and engineering roles as continuous improvement process engineer and custom product engineer. Tony holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Western Michigan University in Engineering Design.

Blaise Beltowski Custom Manufacturing Engineer

Blaise is the Customs Manufacturing Coordinator for Studio 431. He has been with Landscape Forms since 2010 and joined the team in 2014 where he coordinates all of the resources required to bringing custom projects together. Blaise holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Management Technology with a minor in Integrated Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University.

Cindy is Studio 431’s sales support specialist with more than 35 years experience in customer service relations who joined Landscape Forms in 2004. As a member of the Studio 431 team she is responsible for order information, shipping information, and communicating with key members of project teams and clients to keep project-related information updated and project members informed.

Sonjia is a sales support specialist who has been with Landscape Forms for ten years and recently joined the Studio 431 team. Prior to her work at the company, Sonjia honed her communication skills as a teacher and director of a pre-school. She holds an Associate of Arts and Science degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

Shannon is a Studio 431 engineering design intern. Prior to joining the team she had four years experience in office products and furniture sales. Shannon is in her senior year as an Engineering Design major and Integrated Supply Chain Management minor at Western Michigan University.
