Arne Lighting Family Additions Strengthens Landscape Forms’ Design Partnership with Santa & Cole Urbidermis
Kalamazoo, MI – May 23, 2019 - Landscape Forms, North America’s leading designer and manufacturer of high-design LED lighting, site furniture, and accessories, announces a growing collection of Santa & Cole Urbidermis products, including an expanded Arne lighting line. “We are delighted to announce this exciting expansion of the already successful Arne line,” says Landscape Forms President Richard Heriford. “We have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Santa & Cole Urbidermis for the past 12 years. This year strengthens that relationship with additions to Arne and new site elements in the future.”

A classic modernist design and 21st century LED technology still define the Arne line, inspired by the work of renowned Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. But now the line is expanded to give lighting and landscape designers a greater range of choices-including the smaller-scaled Arne S-to appropriately and beautifully light outdoor environments. Multiple asymmetric and symmetric distributions, a range of mounting styles, outputs, clear and diffused lenses, indirect lighting capabilities, and shielding are among the new choices the lighting family offers designers.

“The Arne floodlight was born as a modest tribute to the elegance and spirit of Danish design. It proved to be a clean and elegant compliment for traditional and contemporary architecture projects, and, thanks to his range of accessories and optics, offered versatile applications with uniform integration and visual consistency,” says Santa & Cole Urbidermis’ Jordi Munoz. “Looking at future applications for lighting, introducing the smaller Arne S, new light distributions, and light sources enhance and configure the night cityscape and accentuate architecture to give a theatrical sense of space.”

“Landscape Forms understands and shares our canon for beautifully designed collections and works vigorously to bring our products to architects, landscape architects, and lighting designers who understand what thoughtful, quality design brings to the outdoor experience,” says Munoz.
