About Rick Reeder
Rick Reeder is founder and principal of designStream, a full service firm specializing in architecture, planning and product design based in Winchester, MA. Reeder’s work ranges from the design of corporate buildings and private residences to museum exhibitions and a South American Eco-community. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and his Push Pull Pin is the recipient of a Red Dot Award. The Reeder Illuminated Sign, Reeder Illuminated Bike Rack, and Paladin and Sentinel bollards for Landscape Forms are multi-functional wayfinding elements expressed in strong minimalist forms that beautifully compliment contemporary architecture and landscapes.
The Reeder Illuminated Bike Rack is sculptural in shape, elliptical in profile and has an optional LED light source mounted under the top. It serves multiple functions as a bike rack pure and simple, and with LED lighting, as both bike rack and wayfinder and sculptural wayfinding in its own right. The integrated LED light source exemplifies Landscape Forms’ goal to bring subtle illumination to outdoor settings in non-conventional ways. The optional LED is hardwired. The cast aluminum body is Pangard II® powdercoat finished with all standard color palette options.
