System Details

System Material Specs

  • Posts consist of 4in. square structural steel
  • Post spacing is 85-1/2 in. on center
  • Canopy frame consists of aluminum extrusions
  • Panel inserts are 16-gauge steel
  • All metal is finished with Landscape Forms' proprietary Pangard II® polyester powdercoat, a hard yet flexible finish that resists rusting, chipping, peeling and fading. See materials link for standard colors. Optional colors also offered.

Benches

  • May be Plexus or Presidio, backed or backless styles, with or without intermediate arms
  • Each bench consists of 3 seats, mounted on a rail, which mounts to canopy posts with special end plates

Lighting Details

Low Voltage, hard-wired lighting

  • 12 volts, UL listed, consisting of light housing and transformer
  • Accepts 20 to 75 watt low voltage halogen MR16 lamp
  • Bulb and wiring are not included
  • Standard light housing is bronze. Additional colors available for an upcharge.
  • Landscape Forms is not responsible for verifying that lighting meets local codes. Consult a licensed contractor to confirm codes and install lighting.

Solar LED Lighting Smart Technology

  • Features integrated solar powered lighting provided by advanced light-emitting diode (LED) technology.
  • Wireless: provides savings on installation, maintenance and energy costs.
  • Off the grid; in case of power emergencies, it just glows on!
  • Intelligent: Microprocessor technology automatically turns lights on at dusk and off at dawn. "intelligent energy management system" calibrates light output to the amount of energy in storage to ensure uninterrupted function.
  • Efficient: LED light is generated by tiny silicone chips which require a much smaller electrical charge than incandescent bulbs and waste almost no energy through heat dissipation. As a result, they are 100 times as efficient at producing light as incandescent bulbs and last about 20 times longer.
  • State of the art and durable; no internal moving parts, no wiring, is environmentally sealed to protect the solar panel from damage and dirt.
  • Small, compact unit, which includes a battery pack and LED technology, rests unobtrusively atop the canopy, delivering solar function without large solar panels.
  • LIghts provide illumination that defines the shelter structure and sheds a gentle glow.
