Kalamazoo, MI – Landscape Forms, a 2008 winner of the Top 15 Small Workplaces named by Wall Street Journal, is pleased to introduce a litter receptacle to partner with the very popular Austin bench. Designed by landscape architect, Bob Chipman, as an ideal companion to its namesake bench, it is also a handsome stand-alone solution for a variety of outdoor settings. Shared Austin themes are reflected in the tapered conical body and ribbing of the litter that echo the tapered supports of the bench. The receptacle’s ‘bird’s mouth’ lid mirrors the likeness between the bench seat and its back.
The ribbing that frames the unit’s side door adds visual interest and provides functional support for the door hinges. A dome stationary lid shields contents from view and helps keep out rain and snow. Austin’s litter is fabricated with steel body panels, cast aluminum top and cast iron base for stability. It is finished with exclusive PangardII® powdercoat process and ships fully assembled.
The Austin litter features include:
· 34-gallon, large capacity, black polyethylene liner is standard with the unit
· Shipped with freestanding glides that remain in place for surface mounting
· Side or top opening
· Optional keyed lock
